Just received new chicks today and 2 were deceased upon arrival and a 3rd is not doing well....I ordered 5 different breeds of 5-it appears that all 3 birds are the same breed....
Should I be concerned for the rest and at what point is it humane to call it quits on a chick that clearly seems to just be struggling...other chicks just literally walking all over until I rescue her...
    Thanks

There is the possibility that the one breed is less vigorous and more susceptible than the others. Make sure that the survivors are eating and drinking and are not being trampled by the rest of the chicks. I tend to believe in survival of the fittest, but with shipped chicks I will go further in trying to rehydrate with electrolytes and separate housing until they rebound from shipping stress.
