New chicks

We just had our first batch of new baby chickens. Mama chick and babies are in their coop with another female and the daddy rooster. Do we need to get the other hand and the rooster out of there for her to raise the chickens? are they even safe in there with other chickens?

I would not let a hen go in the same pen. I'd be wary of the rooster.
I learnt it the hard way. One of my chicks was badly pecked by a hen about two years ago.
You might not have the same issue, but that is my experience and it was a nightmare for me. I can still not stop thinking about that poor chick.
