New chicks

    Imordering some chicks soon and i want to know a few things is efowl a good site to get them from? Is golden comets black australorps and barred rock good chickens?

    I don't much about the hatchery; however, Cackle Hatchery is usually good for me.They are in Missouri, and it helps if the hatchery is fairly close. They aren't out as long and aren't "handled" so much. Those are good breeds. I prefer Dominiques and old fashioned barnyard mixes. Those make the best hens by far.
