We bought four BO's and 2 RIR chicks this morning. they are in a large rabbit cage in the coop (house) with the hens but they can't get to them. Is this ok? We want them to know each other by the time we let them integrate into the flock. Also my adult BO is roosting on top of the cage. Normal?

Quote:CONGRATS! I think it will be fine if the hens can't get to them. No chicken is normal but I think it will be fine if the poo cant get on the babies

That I can do. I have no idea what to do with these chickens. We have only had our first 6 since last Friday and the chicks we got today. Thanks!
