Hi BYC members!

My wife and I have often discussed getting ducks through recent years, but never had the time for the duckling stages of their life.

Well, due to the current pandemic surrounding COVID, were both working from home for the majority of the year, leaving us plenty of time to raise some littles into healthy and happy ducks/drake's!!

We ended up getting 4 ducklings (about 4 days old when we got them). Two are Swedish Blue (Mo and Mable), one pekin (Margot), and one "indian runner"(Lenny), which now that they're about a month old, believe Lenny is just another Pekin. Oh well!

I've attached a few pics of them from the day we got them, until now..THEY GROW SOO FAST!

We're completely new to raising any animals aside from dogs and cats, so very grateful of this site, and the plethora of wonderful people, sharing so much knowledge!
