Sorry for all the pics. These guys/gals came from a shipment from Ideal's hatchery's mix of ducks... I'm guessing the dark one is a cayuga? Really have no idea... I don't know if you can see, but the bigger one is turning Buff colored and has a white ring around the neck...

I think you've got the dark one spot on... Cayuga.

The lighter one almost looks like a Buff or a Golden Layer.
Maybe a fawn and white something?

I am not sure what breeds were included in the mix you got from Ideal.
    Very cute babies, though!

Thanks-- I think they are cute, too! I have been wondering if the buff/tan one might actually be a hatchery grade runner duck?

looks like a Welsh Harlequin and a Cayuga. Congrats!

{edit} oh... looks like they don't have Harlequin. Maybe the snowy Mallard... so pretty!

[IMG] I cant wait for my ducks to hatch now... I think that you have a Cayuga and what Ideal calls a Buff Duck [IMG] Good luck with both of em -Pen1124

I hate to have to tell you this, but I think one of your ducks is a turkey.

Cayuga and Buff duck are probably a close guess.

LOL! Yes, that's our tiny little poult. The turkeys went out of their way to adopt the two ducks for some reason...
