Thought I'd take a moment and introduce myself.
My name is Bob and I live in central Florida and am nearing retirement age. I raise Mandarin ducks (normal and white) and have 3 white silkie hens which I hatched out of a dozen months ago. Just got by first eggs from them yestersday. I have had Red Golden pheasants, but recently sold all 22 of them. I have 5 ringneck doves and need a male as my females are laying and the male must not be fertile.
I like old stepsides, large windchimes, canoes and fishing. I have a "little" male dog, mother German Shepherd and father Bullmastiff. He's my buddy and guards the place.
I am thinking of building a chicken tractor this weekend if weather permits. It might be too cold as it may be in the sixties or so!
I am also working on a donut concession trailer for use during retirement.
