New egg from Vermont

Hi all!


I am getting ready to start a small backyard flock in the rural woods here. Ordered my chicks from a neighbor last week. They'll be Polish/Rhode Island Red crosses. I've ordered 5 chicks just to get started. They will trade in any roosters as they don't know how to sex them yet.

I'm excited to be here in this forum and ready to learn.
