Hi everyone! Just getting back into chickens after taking a few years off. Right now I have 2 silkies and 2 showgirls in my brooder and a surprise box from Cackle due in April. The most chickens we've ever had before was 23 so this will definitely be an adventure. Love this site and have spent hours looking through different threads, I finally decided it was time to set up an account and join in.

Welcome back to chickens! You'll have to let us know what you get in your surprise package...that's a fun way of getting a new flock.

The Cackle Hatchery Surprise box is 40 to 60 birds, mostly chickens, but can include ducks, geese, and turkeys as well. . They're very popular. It's only $65 and shipping is included. Check out their website.. There's a thread on this site about them as well.
