new eggs

    we have a few chicks starting to lay egg we have rooster in the group. when we hard boil the eggs it seems hard to gt the shell off the egg. is this beacuse of the rooster or our we hold boling the wrong way

    Its because there fresh eggs there is a trick but i can't remember someone will post how to make it easier to peal the shells.

    It's because they are so fresh. [​IMG]

    If I want to boil some eggs that are easy to peel, I usually store them in the frig for about a week or so & then they seem a lot easier to peel at that time. And they still taste soooo much better than the grocery store eggs that can be sold up to 60 days after they are laid.
