New friends for Doris!

My beloved Buckeye pullet. Doris, finally got some sisters today! She was joined by 3 White Orps! I was unsure of how the intro would go, but she has taken to them very well and DEFINITELY (despite her small stature) rules the roost! She eats and drinks first, the (dumb) white fatties all wait till she's done. haha. You'd think for their size they'd throw their weight around more, but they arn't smart like Doris. Shes like a parrot in a chicken body. Seriously thinking about getting her a diaper so she can run around my house, it just doesn't seem right leaving her in the pen sometimes. She's so tough she even orders around my 90 lb. German Shepherd, he's terrified of her! Anyways, just thought I'd announce the new arrivals. I'm glad Doris gets to play "mother hen" now

P.S. In other news . . . baby chicks coming mid-week! will post pics then too!
