I'm a 23-year-old, married female from northern California. My husband and I are very new to chickens. we currently have 5 chickens and 1 rooster at about 2 and a half months of age. We know we have two buff Orpington hens and a crowing rooster. We're not that sure of the other breeds because they came from an assorted bantam batch. I'll be putting some pictures up in the "guess my breed and/or gender" area. Anyway, I've been lurking for a while and will most likely be lurking the majority of the time, but I just wanted to say "Hi."
PS: I'm pretty quiet and shy and fairly reserved when meeting new people. Just letting you know so I don't accidentally hurt someone's feelings by being aloof.
