I started raising chickens last year with a Mama Cochin (white), Rooster and five chicks. Moving to this year I have quite a collection. Bantams, Phoenix, D Unccles, Mama Cochin and Rooster. Mama is now fostering 11 assorted chicks. She is taking such good care of them!! Plus I also have 12 meat chickens. I agree with a friend of mine. Chickens are the new drug!! lol

Thanks! Good to know there is a chat for chicken lovers!!! I also have two Aussies, two bunnies and five cats. That actually get along with the chickens. I never would have believed it if I didn't see it with my own eyes!! Had to put dogs in a kennel. One, my female, decided that she liked eggs also. Hated to do it to her, but it keeps her out of trouble!!
