New from Northern California (way north)

Hello! I've been reading lots around here but just decided to register! I've had ducks and geese in the past but never chickens. I'm building a coop right now in the hopes of getting some chickens (and ducks and geese) this year.
We have a lot of foxes and raccoons around here so I am trying to make a really secure (but large) enclosure. We also have to deal with neighbors dogs
