Hello to everyone else in Oklahoma. We've recently moved back to the state and want to start raising some chickens.

The coop is done, now I just need to find some pullets! My husband has sort of nixed the idea of ordering online, due to the high cost of shipping. Does anyone know of a good and reputable place to buy laying hens/pullets in Eastern Oklahoma. I would like to start with 4-5 hens from a relatively easy and fool proof breed.

Any and all suggestions would be appreciated and welcomed.

Ugh...my apologies. I thought this was posting directly into the existing OK thread. I need to reread the directions on how to post. I should have had one of my kids do it for me!
