    Hello,
New here and looking to gather info before diving into chicken life. My DH will take some convincing so I'm here to get equipped for my "chicken proposal". I believe a small handful of chicken will be a great addition to our family and that the kids will love them. We eat eggs daily and have lots of space in the back yard we are also starting a raised bed veg garden this spring. Any good info to strengthen my case would be appreciated :)

You will want to do some reading in our learning center here on BYC for some tips and hints on raising your flock, building the coop, feeding and keeping them healthy. Lots of good reads here.....

Usually all it takes to win over a reluctant spouse, is for them to see baby chicks.
