We live in a super duper rural area. We after much coaxing from our friends got some chickens. They gave us half of their flock and we bought some chicks last week. We are having a lot of fun and the chickens are providing wonderful eggs as well as great entertainment watching them.

We currently have a 1/2 acre lot, divided in half. The back half is a fenced pasture and a mini barn. The barn has the coup and the other side is for our pregnant ewe.

We got 4 kids, 10, 8, 5 and 1. They are loving this experience, and we hope to install a great work ethic by having them help us care for the animals.

We grow a big garden (45x50 plot and a 20X40 plot) we had about 40 5 gallon buckets last year of tomatoes

My DH loves to hunt, and some times it involves the whole family.

We currently live next to the inlaws, and that goes 'ok' most of the time.

For me I love to bake, cook and grill. We are a country family and proud of it!
