I am totally new to Guineas. I'm planning to get 5 or 6 keets. From the research I done, we plan to keep them in a coop at night but let them out during the day- after they are large enough. Our neighbors have guineas that free range during the day and the often end up on our property. Will the existing Guineas fight with new Guineas?

Since you are only getting 5 or 6 guineas, it is very possible that your guineas may join the other guineas and unite into one flock. Guineas are flock birds and do better in large numbers. I recommend no fewer than 10 guineas with even more being better.

Depending on how many guineas you neighbor has, they may also join your flock instead of the other way around.

If they have contact with each other there will be pecking order squabbles and then there is the normal ruckuses during breeding season that are very likely to affect both flocks.
