Hello BYC community. Decided to dive into the world of chickens, mainly for my 2 sons (4yr old and 1 yr old) to have some good "farm" work to do! I used this website for all my questions and concerns and could not be happier with the results. We should receive our first 10 chics by next Wednesday! Wish me luck!

I was divided between 3 breeds after talking to some family members so I got all 3. 3 Buff Orpingtons, 3 Rhode Island Reds & 3 Golden Laced Wyandottes. I was wanting dual purpose breeds and I believe these will suit me well.
