New guy here....not sure what my chickens are

    I have 4 chickens...... 3 females and 1 male. Still not sure which term is used for which at what age....so I will go with male and female for now ....lol


    Here are my chickens. Any help would be appreciated in identifying them.

    I'm not your girl for chicken identification. I barely know what I have! What I can say is your birds are absolutely gorgeous, and you take really lovely pictures! I'm absolutely certain someone on this site will be able to help you figure out what kinds of chickens you have, or what type of potential crosses you've got on your hands. I look forward to seeing more of your photographs!

    Thank you very much. I'm actually a photographer...but these were just some snapshots I was able to catch while they roamed around the yard trying to avoid the paparazzi.

    Cocoa and Black are Easter egger pullets. Rick looks like a white Rock? male, and Squeaker is a white Leghorn female.

    I got the white ones from a school project where they let the kids hatch eggs. So, they don't tell you what you have.

    The other 2 I bought from a local guy.

    I agree with donrae as far as breeds, but I just wanted to add that all your birds are beautiful! But Cocoa is GORGEOUS!! So pretty! [​IMG]
