new hatched chick with bad leg

I have a buff orphington chick that has its right leg sticking out to its side. I have tried the bandaide method but the chick keeps pulling off the bandaid. should I CONTINUE to redue it until the chick stops pulling it off. The chick has adapted somewhat to using one leg but cannot seem to use the other. My first hatch and I would like to save this young bird as it is healthy. Any help appreciated.

if you want to keep treating for spraddle leg I would switch to a homemade version with duct tape rather than a bandaid and try to make it as comfortable as possible. Hopefully the duct tape version will be more sturdy and she won't be able to get it off.
