Hi all!
I'm not a chicken owner but our neighbors are! They have 14 chickens and 5 ducks and they spend much of their time in our yard. We love chickens and especially like the ducks! From time to time, we have questions about these critters. Since they seem to have adopted us as, we are interested in learning as much about them as possible.
My most urgent question is this: We just had two large black walnut tree stumps ground and we wondering if it is safe to spread the mulch around where the chickens spend a lot of their time; including where they eat.
Any help is appreciated!
