Hey All,
Im new from Iowa and going to try and raise some city chickens. I live in a suburb but chickens are allowed (as of last summer). I just got my six girls and they are so great! I got them at TSC and right now they are in the dog crate (large wire crate). I am still trying to decide what kind of coop to get/build for them but I figure I have a few weeks. Anyway, thanks for all the great info on here, I'd be lost without this site!

thats what i use for my brooder i put i tarp under it And tie it on the sides about 8 inches high, and no shavings kicked all over the floor. Good luck building your coop soon.
