Hi all, I'm new to the world of chickens, I have 3 gorgeous buff orpingtons who are almost 7 weeks old, one very cuddly one called Dolly, then Doris with the biggest been munch.
I have so very quickly fell in love with these chicks, although I'm concerned if the sex of these chicks, Doris and munch I am questionable about their gender but from reading post after post on here I have discovered it can take quite a while to actually learn the real sex of a BO.

Well anyway just wanted to pop by and say hi

I love Buff orpingtons, they're my favorite chickens I have. Amazing personalities and super pretty. Great choice!

Good morning, Welcome to BYC.

I got chicks last week. 1 of them is a BO. I read so many great things about them that I have decided to breed lavender orpingtons. I wont get those from the breeder until at least August though. I'm super excited, hope the lavenders are as friendly as the buffs reputation.

It's always fun to see the guesses on the sex of chicks and then the follow up of what the actually ended up being.
