    Hi! I'm new here, and newish to having chickens. I have 6 Isa Brown Pullets that are 8 1/2 weeks old! I absolutely love them! My boys do too. They are 5 and 3 years old! We live in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan!

    Welcome to BYC [​IMG] Raising chickens with your children is wonderful, isn't it? My son adores them too! He's 9 now and we had chickens his whole life so far.

    You may want to join your state thread. Just put Michigan in the search box and it will come up. The Michigan folks are very kind and eager to help. I know we have members from the UP of Michigan as they post on other threads.

    Many years ago my Uncle's family living in Ishpeming (spelling??) before moving to Chicago.
