Hi! This is my first time to incubate eggs and have some questions. I have always loved chickens and finally for the first time get to have them.

G’Day from down under sanderslm [IMG] Welcome!

How exciting! Good luck with the hatch.

Sorry that I do not have any experience with incubation, just broody hatches. However, I recommend posting any questions you have on this Forum: https://www.backyardchickens.com/f/5/incubating-hatching-eggs

Alternatively, you could try here: https://www.backyardchickens.com/t/...chatting-hosts-bantychooks-and-many-many-more

You might want to say hello on your local thread: https://www.backyardchickens.com/f/26/where-am-i-where-are-you ‘Find your State’s thread.

I hope you enjoy BYC. There are lots of friendly and very helpful folks here so not only is it overflowing with useful information it is also a great place to make friends and have some fun. Unlike non chicken loving friends, family and colleagues, BYC’ers never tire of stories or pictures that feature our feathered and non feathered friends [IMG]

Thank you! I have sextons and I only have 1 left. Can a chicken stay in an egg longer than 21 days?
