Hello all! I'm so excited to start this new adventure. I just need advice on a coop. I plan on keeping 3-4 bantam hens and want to use our metal shed as a coop. It has a concrete foundation and is in good shape. The plan is to take off the doors, and a panel from each side and cover with hardware cloth and also add vents around sides up top. I'm also building an attached run on one side. My concern is with the heat...should I put a box fan inside to keep them cool, as well? It's in a fairly shaded area but temps where I am reach over 100 degrees some days and with the high humidity it makes it feel worse. Any insight is greatly appreciated!!
