    Hello,

My name is Erika and I am having great fun perusing the forum. I have not yet purchased my first chickens, but I am anxious to do so. I am looking for egg layers, and I like brown, chocolate and the blue/green eggs, so right now I am most interested in Araucanas, Easter Eggers, Plymouth Rocks, Wyandottes, Orpingtons, Astralops Brahmas, Dominiques, and Marans. I also love the Golden Spangled Hamburg. It may be an ecclectic flock!

Greetings from Texas! You might want to include one or two production reds. They are great layers of brown eggs, and have have nice friendly personalities.
