I finally found my camera, so I wanted to share pictures of my second batch of lavender Orpington babies from hinkjc. I hatched out 12 of 14 eggs! (I'll post pictures of my first batch later, they turned out awful) These are from their first outing.

This is a group shot. There are also 3 buff Orpingtons and 6 bantams (I think OEG or Dutch, or both) They are from a staggered hatch starting Oct. 14, my lavs hatched Oct.24.

This is a shot of 2 bantam chicks perching on the bar that holds the brooder light. Forgive this mess in the background, the brooder is in my packed-to-the-gills utility room.

This is my other mottled lav Orp, she's the smallest, hatched last, and didn't like being outside.

Thanks so much Jody! (hinkjc) All of my babies from you are beautiful, and have the sweetest personalities ever!

Hey, we are related! ... Errr, what I mean is ... I just hatched 15 of 16 Lavender Orpington eggs from scbatz33, on Halloween. She obtained hers from someone who got them from hinkjc. Aren't they so cool ... love em. I got 3 black, 11 lavender and 1 mottled. My mottled is totally yellow, with a very tiny dot on it's head.

ETA: Ya know ... my mottled was also the last one to hatch. Interesting!

My next flock will be Orpingtons, I hope. No chance of getting lavenders I'm afraid but I love your bunch- nicely done!
