I have been interested in backyard chickens for some time now, I've even spent time on here fawning over chickens! Well my dreams came true yesterday - all 9 of them!
They're about a week old, I'm sure they are Silkies (white and possibly buff) and might have 2 boys in the mix (judging by size comparison).

I'm so excited for this new adventure! :)

Newspaper is slippery and can sometimes cause problems with splayed feet. Towel paper has a little grip to it. [IMG]

The Learning Centre is a great resource, even for experienced chicken keepers - loads of info on anything chicken. https://www.backyardchickens.com/atype/1/Learning_Center
