Just wanted to say hello to everyone. We love this site for information and learning. Couple pics of my new family members. The boys names are Rooty Roo and Tig (well as of the moment..lol..they keep changing as we learn more about them). The girls have only been home since Friday nite....havent had a chance to think of names yet.
We are in Chemung County..btw....My family are Black Australorps.

Hi, Cindy! WELCOME, and I'm glad you found us!

I'd like to make a quick suggestion that you check out the coops section...your fencing appears to not be very predator proof and it looks like you are near woods. I would hate to hear of you losing any to a predator - there are lots of tips/hints in that section to make sure your coop & run are as predator proof as possible!

Your flock is lovely, and they look happy & healthy!

Al is home with the fam all day. They get lots of attention. It is a creek by the run area. They are all locked in at night. We also have 3 dogs that keep unwanted critters in check. Looking to get a few more hens and have a prospect but the pullets are younger and not sure if could put them in with the girls and boys.
