Hi! So I'm fairly new to raising chickens and unfortunatly I am moving (pretty unexpectedly) and I can't bring my 4 ladies with me [IMG] Does anyone know if there are barns/families looking for laying hens? They will be 1 in April and are located in New Jersey. Any advice on where I might be able to call or give them a new home?

    Hi :welcome

Sorry to hear you are not able to take to your ladies with you :hugs I'm not sure what's available in your area as I'm in the UK. There is the buy sell trade section you could post in once you have a post count of 20. Here is the link https://www.backyardchickens.com/f/67/buy-sell-trade

I hope you are able to find them a new home, good luck :frow

Thank you for that link, maybe I could try a local farm. I would really prefer to know who they're going to. Thanks again!!

Do you have any chicken lover neighbors or family who might take them in? Hope you have success in rehoming them.
