I am new to chickens and new to this site. I have 5 buff orphingtons (little Anne, Ruby, madea, and the twins) that are supposed to be ready to start laying late September/early October. My girls have been happy and healthy up until now. One of the ladies i noticed today had a soggy bottom. It looks like she is leaking a watery substance from her vent area. She is ithwrwise walking around normally, and eating well. Anyone have any ideas as to what it could be? TIA

Have you found any bits of shell? An egg may have broken inside her. Please post at "Emergencies, diseases, injuries, cures," thread for advice.
