Hi all,
Happy to be a new member. I love chickens and think they make the prefect pet for just about everyone. I live in a very residential area in a small town and I am looking forward to showing all my friends and neighbours that I am not crazy, chickens are great! Everyone so far likes the chicks and hopefully they will love them when they are adults too- I'm sure a few eggs now and then won't hurt!

Chickens are indeed the bees' knees. Be warned though: once they get past the cute stage of being enormous birds with no comb and a youngster's voice, they start getting hormonal. Oh, they're loveable 99.9% of the time, but watch out for when you cop a stink eye
