Hello all, I'm Kat!
big_smile.png

A resident of Ridgeville, SC (a little town about 45 minutes/ 1 hour away from Charleston), a proud wife of an amazing husband, a proud mommy of an American Bulldog and a Mini Potbelly Pig (who are both GLUED to my ankles at every waking moment!), and the proud soon-to-be mommy of some baby chicks! (as soon as the shipments come in, that is!) I have been on and off of this site for months reading and learning, so I am incredibly excited to be a member now!

Like I mentioned, I'm a soon-to-be mommy of these little balls of feathers! - Any advice, tips, etc. are greatly appreciated!

Thanks in advance & have a great rest of your Monday!!!

from Anderson, South Carolina! My personal tips are:

1. Always make your coop double the size of what it is! Most likely you will want more chicks.

I do, and I am going to have to expand the coop.

2. Sometimes baby chicks can be over whelming,

(atleast for me) but don't worry.
3. Always be prepared for things like disease, deaths, and supplys for cleaning. (If you are showing your birds)
4. There is so much to learn, so don't be afraid to ask dumb questions! I do all the time.

5. Always have fun with your chickies.
