Am the proud parent of 8 baby chicks that are now 2 1/2 weeks old. Husband is out now building the New Gertie coop. Named for the smallest of the eight. She is a very slow grower but darn cute. Husband grew up on a farm but this is my first foray into chicken raising. Hope it goes as well as the gardening has.
