Hello,
Just a brief intro - dh and I hail from central Maine. We are servants and audience to a dozen healthy, inquisitive 2 week old chicks (3 BR, 2 RIR, 4 Araucanas and 3 Comets). To say they are entertaining is an understatement.
Thank you for providing such a comphrensive site for both newbies and seasoned folks. And a thank you to all of you who have unselfishly shared pics of your coops/pens. I have spent way too much time researching and designing than is probably necessary.
Our hobbies and interests include, but not all-inclusive, ocean boating and island stewardship, motorcycling, road biking, servants to multiple parrots and dog, fiber arts (knitting, quilting, rugs, etc), fussing in the yards and gardens and lots of reading.
Again, thanks for providing a great site.
