Hi ! I have had chickens for 5 years now. Still so much to learn and a lot to share. I currently have: 1- 4 yr old Tetra tint, 1- 3 yr old Americana, 2-1 yr old barred rocks, 1-1 yr old Columbian Wyandotte, 1-1 yr old golden laced Wyandotte, 2-1 yr old white leghorns, 2-1 yr old Golden buffs.

I work from home for my husbands plumbing company. I also watch my 18 month old granddaughter. She keeps me hopping. LOL

I love my vegetable and herb garden. I start all my own heirloom seeds and love watching them germinate and sprout. My husband, my garden, chickens and my grandkids are my life.

    Thanks for listening :)

    GO BUCKS....

You mean there are other colleges out there somewhere?
And they might even have FANS?

No...there are Ohio State Buckeyes. That's all there is.
All those other teams are just that....OTHER teams.

Meanwhile, welcome to the BYC nest.

I'd love to see a photo of your Tetra tint if you wouldn't mind sharing. Sounds like you are plenty busy, thanks for joining us!

Hello and welcome. I joined last weekend and am a fellow buckeye. We are building our first chicken coop this weekend and am so excited. Have spent so much time on here trying to get the best ideas for my coop. I am new to all of this and looking forward to it. We just moved down last summer to OU territory and have a large area to garden in. Looking forward to that also.

    Have fun!

Quote: Sure will upload in a bit.....the one I have left, as I lost one last winter due to being an internal layer, has much more copper coloring on her chest than the one I lost. I helped her get around as much as I could and one night she just laid down and said she had, had enough.....

Edited to add this...can I post pictures in here? If so, I will put up pics of my TT

Quote: LOL...All I know that is out there is the Great Buckeyes! One day, one item on my bucket list is to go to a game!!

Quote: Thanks, will have to check that area out:)

Thanks everyone and hope to be around for a bit!
