    hi... im new.... obviously lol:p
we just bought a big house and since im obsessed whit chicken
im gonna make my first attempt at raising them
l be building the coop while its cold and il get a dozen of EE in spring
im sure its gonna be a great experience for the whole family
im also hoping the fun and pride of raising chicken will help our 6 years old boy to eat eggs
hes never does and eggs are very good for him i want to get him to like them
and i rather eat fresh egg from my own free range chicken then support a battery farm
so still im trying to figure out the size of the coop i need
does anybody know about a breeder in Oregon

sry about the bad spelling... im french
    i hope i didn't burn your eyes

    You didn't burn MY eyes!

Sounds like you have a good plan. Always best to get the chicken space ready before the chickens arrive...something I've apparently not learned yet!

If you check the index, you'll see a breeder's page - you should be able to find someone near you there! Good luck!

p.s. LOVE your avatar! Cute 'lil piggy!

Hooker, OK idea about Oregan stuff...but all the hatcheries ship all over and you should be able to find stuff at feed stores and the like...don't worry about the spelling...most of us can't spell and we have lived here all our lives! As far as coops it can get more birds that way!
