Dropping in to say hello to all on my first post here on BYC. I'm brand new to raising chickens and I've been scouring the BYC coop pages for a month or so now trying to nail down a design I want to imitate and I think I may finally have found one I like that's within my family's design and space wishes.

I'm happily married to the love of my life, Amy and together we have three young daughters. I hope to get some much needed guidance and advice from current members as there seems to be a wealth of knowledge and experience on these boards.

Welcome to BYC! Just post any questions you may have on the forum and I'm sure you'll get lots of replies. Be sure you predator proof your coop/run and (you probably know this already) use hardware cloth instead of chicken wire as there are too many predators that can either tear through chicken wire or pass through the openings in the mesh. Good luck in building your coop.
