    Hi,
New member here but not new to chickens.
We've had chickens for 7 years now, our oldest are still laying, though not so frequently, they are a Cream Legbar called Dr Zeuss, two Cuckoo Marans called Thing one and Thing Two and a Pekin Bantam called Mumble who is almost permanently broody so only lays a dozen or so eggs a year.
5 years ago we gave Broody Mumble some fertilized eggs to sit on and she hatched another Marans (Lazarus) and a Buff Orpington (Kylie).
6 weeks ago we gave Mumble six day-olds to adopt; they are a white Silkie called Dora (but I've nick-named it Fluffy), a white Polish called NK, a Lavender Arucana called Lavender, a Gold Campine called Dipper, a Cream Legbar called Dr Two and a Welsummer (or so we thought) called Layla.

Now they are a few weeks old I am strongly suspecting that Layla is actually another Legbar because I can hardly tell the difference. Here are a few pics.

hello @Dr Zeuss ! welcome to BYC :frow
Given your wonderful chicken names and user name, I trust at least one of them lays green eggs... :D
ps I think silver duckwing welsumers look very like CCL, which might explain Layla
