I purchased my first 5 pullets ever today!!

3 California Whites and 2 Golden Sex Links
(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens?
I love the birds so much and have friends and family that own them. Not only are they a fun pet, the yield eggs!
(5) What are some of your other hobbies?
Gardening, sewing, arts & crafts, balloon and party decor, home interior design
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like
Hubby and I have 9 children, we are a loving Christian family with a growing heart for the outdoors.
(7) Bonus: How did you find BYC, how long have you known about BYC, and what made you finally join our awesome community?
Learned about the community today from a girlfriend who also owns many chickens..she said this is a wonderful place to learn and share!
