Welcome to BYC, Jamie. Glad you decided to our flock. Sounds like you have a lovely flock. Orpingtons are a wonderful breed. I've raised them for years, and they are hardy, calm and gentle (my children and granddaughter made lap pets of them), and good layers of large brown eggs. Where eggs are concerned, I love the chocolate eggs of the Marans. In my opinion, they are the prettiest eggs in the chicken wordl. Please feel free to ask any questions you may have. We are here to help in any way we can. Good luck with your flock.
