Martha, nice to meet you. If you go to "Other Backyard Poultry," you will find threads for ducks, geese, peafowl etc. the people there will be able to give you good information . For chickens head for the :Learning Center above

lots of great information in one spot. After that you may want to peruse the "Raising Backyard chickens," forum. Many tabs will open to the right, with specialized information by topic. Glad you joined the flock.
