New member of Backyard Chickens!

Hi- I am new to Backyard Chickens. I just started raising chickens at the beginning of August when I bought 6 day-old chicks. They are doing great and I love watching them interact with each other every day.

Welcome to Backyard Chickens. I am from Scotland and I am myself fairly new to the hen owning clan. I love the camaraderie and the wealth of information and fellowship other owners show. I have still to upload some pictures of my three ex-Battery (Rescue) hens. You should upload some of your chicks.

Happy times, my two young daughter and Mayu my wife named our hens, Daisy, Jade and Haru (Japanese for Spring). We have all fell in love with them already and their antics.
