Well today must have been day 28 for GMD (good mama duck). We now have a new pekin or pekin cross (can't tell yet) in the family. She normally has a lot more than just one duckling but this year she set next to the fire ants. I thought for sure all the eggs had died because i took her of the nest one day for about 10 hours. She had been covered with ants and it pained me to go to school thinking she was being eaten alive. I put her in the isolation pen until i got home. Anywho back to the baby. Its adorable and yellowish. I will post pics soon. We named her Connie because i can't take another Drake. [IMG]

Wow, how sweet with the mama and baby. It was good to get her away from the fire ants. They are viscious. I hate fire ants.
