We live in Lorane Or - have a small flock of egg layers - mostly Japanese black tail and Delaware. We also got a pair of Narragansett turkeys this year. We have a hobby farm - lost of Nigerian Dwarf milk goats (19) and 2 bucks, a few hair sheep for our own meat supply. I use my milk for milk, cheese, yogurt and anything else milk related. Also make goat milk soap.
We need to learn more about turkeys as things didn't work out this spring with nesting and her eggs now aren't fertile. I am guessing they have a distinct breeding time?

Hello and welcome to BYC. I hope that you enjoy your time here. Hopefully the turkey peeps will be able to assist.

This is a useful link of “How to” BYC guides to take a look at announcements-feedback-issues-guides.3. I’d suggest including your location using the guide in the preceding link. You can use this link to contact members in your area - Find your State's thread.

    Best wishes
