Great to be a part of this chicken community! Looking forward to learning and sharing!
Welcome to BYC!
That's a fine looking lawn for a chicken keeper. Not a single bare patch or giant broody poop. I'm jelly.
Welcome from one newbie to another!
Hi! That is pretty nice grass, I am sure your birds love it! Welcome to the backyard.
Welcome to Backyard Chickens great to have you with us
Thank you..they love the edges..lol. they are good girls.
Good luck keeping it that beautiful! My run looked like the surface of the Moon. Craters, not a thing growin' -- just saying to the new chicken owner, kiss your grass goodby!
Awe..I've already said goodbye to part of it. I give them clippings from the garden, corn on the cob, whole watermelon, fresh herbs and vegetables, meal worms, worms from the bait suppliers, spaghetti and any bugs I find if they've missed them. They tried to go into my garden but I put chicken wire around them and tell them..no, no, no if you can imagine how funny it must look or sound to my neighbors..me talking to the girls. Hahaha!
I'm new to this site and not sure exactly how to maneuver around it yet. I am trying to put a profile picture. I am also trying to ask a question about my littlest gile whom is limping. I tried to upload a short video, but the extension is incorrect.
