    Hello everyone,
My family and I just bought 6 new Tetra Brown chicks, and hope we can be a good host family for them.

Thank you for joining us at Backyard chickens. Have you visited the Learning Center above, it is the best place to start a poultry education

Greetings from Kansas, CashFamily, and [IMG]! Pleased you joined our flock! I agree with D'Diva's suggestion about the Learning Center - it is loaded with valuable information. You can also chat with fellow Kentucky poultry folks in your state thread in this link:

Welcome to BYC - and the chicken obsession! So glad you've joined us. @drumstick diva is right on the money, The Learning Center is a great place to start filling your head with chicken keeping knowledge. Beyond The Learning Center, though, the forums themselves are a fabulous place to find all the questions you may have had so far and even questions you haven't though of yet - and the answers, because the folks here at BYC will "talk chicken" all day long! Look forward to seeing you and your flock around.

G’Day from down under CashFamily [IMG] Welcome!

I hope you enjoy being a BYC member. There are lots of friendly and very helpful folks here so not only is it overflowing with useful information it is also a great place to make friends and have some fun.

If you would like to share pictures and stories of your flock, you have come to the right place. BYC’ers never tire of these and do not back away slowly or commence eye rolling when the photo album or home videos come out [IMG]
