So glad you've joined us. @drumstick diva is right on the money, The Learning Center is a great place to start filling your head with chicken keeping knowledge. Beyond The Learning Center, though, the forums themselves are a fabulous place to find all the questions you may have had so far and even questions you haven't though of yet - and the answers, because the folks here at BYC will "talk chicken" all day long!
