Wife brought home some little ones from the tractor Supply yesterday. We’re new to raising chickens and my first questions to the community is what breed are these, are they hens or roosters, and about how old they might be. Thanks for the help:idunno

3 and 4 are Golden Laced Sebright Bantams. Look up a picture of them, they are beautiful, and you are lucky to have some!

If the first two are standard, 1 is probably a Leghorn or White Rock.
Second is probably a Red Sex Link.

The first two are not bantams but we’re labeled as pullets only. The second two were only labeled as bantams

Is it possible to tell the sex with the photos. Or is it going to be a mystery for a while still?

Your two banties are Golden laced Sebrights - lucky you, they are beautiful birds. However, males will have henny feathers (same as females)
